Frédéric Péchenard
Directeur général de la Police nationale, 2007–2012
Frédéric Péchenard
Directeur général de la Police nationale — head of the French national police — from 2007 to 2012.
Frédéric Péchenard was appointed Directeur général de la Police nationale by decree of 25 May 2007 (Journal officiel of 26 May 2007), and held the office until 31 May 2012, when he was appointed délégué interministériel à la sécurité routière (Journal officiel of 1 June 2012). He is today préfet honoraire, and since May 2025 presides over the examination and aptitude juries of the École nationale supérieure de la police.
He is named in this record because of the connections between the French national police leadership and the lawyers who acted for McDonald’s in France. The Paris law firm Péchenard & Associés carries his family name; Éric Andrieu, the lawyer who corresponded with Vincent Le Corre on behalf of McDonald’s in 2015, is listed in this record in connection with that firm.
